Bernard Barasa
Bernard Barasa is a consultant on International Law. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB Hons) from Moi University and a Master’s Degree (LLM) in Public International Law from the University of Cape Town. He has also completed the Advocates Training Program (Postgraduate Diploma) at the Kenya School of Law and is awaiting admission to the Bar.
His main areas of expertise are International Human Rights Law; International Protection of the Rights of the Child; Refugee Law; International Humanitarian Law; and in International Law on the Use of Force. He is an adept legal practitioner and researcher who is, at all times, keen on providing expert legal advice and oversight whilst making a contribution to the protection of individual rights, addressing social injustices and engaging humanitarian action.
